2013 Denver Comic Con Spoils of War

I didn't really have anything in this year's Denver Comic Con, but it was amazing to attend all three days.  Quite a lot of waiting to get in, but it was impressive to see Denver start to explode into a major comic scene.  I hope to see next year surpass this year in attendance and dealer room variety.  Hopefully, the city will participate in the event like San Diego does for their major con event every year.

In any case, these are my few treasures I purchased this year.  First of all, I had to get Eiji Nizuma from Bakuman.  He's so inspiring to me as an artist.  He reminds me of when I was a child and just enjoyed making art and comics.  His sound effects while drawing really brought me back to my youth.  He now sits on my desk while I draw reminding me how exciting drawing can be.  Secondly, I got myself two mugs for drinking tea.  I'm trying to drink more tea these days, so I got Rainbow Miku on the right to wake up in the mornings to with Green Tea, and Black Rock Shooter to go to bed to with a nice cup of Lavender Camomile Tea.

I look forward to next year's Denver Comic Con.  Word of advice, buy your tickets in advance.
