My work hardly features any guys, I don't have any male characters up on this site yet. I'm a little disappointed in myself. I need a stronger male presence in my gallery. They tend to take bigger roles when I put together a story or comic, but when I illustrate a single image, females tend to be my main composition. That's alright, it just looks like I only draw girls. Sorry to my audience, I will balance my work and prove to you I can come up with a good strong male composition, some time... soon.
Speaking along these lines. I'm actually impressed that women have made such a strong presence in the manga world, pushing through a male dominating society and using a medium that has been primarily a male fan base. I'm glad that women have carved their way into it, like Clamp for instance. (Thanks due to the freedom of the Dojinshi world, I hope to find myself in there some day.) Props to all those who capture their dreams despite the obstacles.

Friends are a blessing
Thanks to a good friend of mine, Joshua Crigger, I have been able to get my paintings up on the internet. He's such a good photographer. He has been such a great help!
Also, thanks to Co D Day, Cody, for his excellent job in framing my art work.
Thanks guys

Distraction
I love this painting. It is a girl text messaging, however she is distracted by some ruckus. There is a lot of work that has gone into this one, from sketch to finished painting. I built the wood canvas it was painted on (I build all my own wood canvas's, not the frames of course). It is another acrylic painting with some ink work on it. It is a little larger than other projects that I have done in size. I'm getting a little better with paints now. I haven't done much blending until now.
PepperRhythm
This is my submission for the Pepper Project, Artgerm's, from Imaginary Friends Studio, character. Hopefully, it will make it in his artbook! Pepper is usually wearing head phones of some sort. Music is a big part of who she is. I tried to capture that in this work I did emphasising the rhythm of her character. It's red ink on birch wood, with some dabs of white acrylic.
Yellow
I have been wanting to do this for a while. To paint a picture that it's characteristic isn't based necessarily on the composition, but the color. Of course, they both complement each other. The theme of this is simply yellow, and all the energy and passion that comes with that color. There are some hot pink highlights to compliment the yellow. This is an acrylic with ink painting on hot press paper, that has been nicely matted and framed.
Postal Service
This is an acrylic painting with pencil on wood. Part of the wood is left exposed. The girl is picking up a pencil near a mail box. I love arrows and effects used in paintings like this. It becomes more than just a snapshot into the life of someone, but reveals a splash of emotion and style of ones spirit and character. This is my third painting.
North Pole
Brown North Pole? Yup, that's right. This is a simple picture I did of a girl standing in snow adjusting her hat, that looks like it has a face - isn't it cute! It's a fun picture done in brown tones, except her skin, and light blue highlights. The picture is a pencil, ink, and marker piece. It's a little smaller than I usually draw, but it fit nicely into a frame I had.
My First Painting
A new medium. I usually do everything with pencils, ink, and markers, but thanks to a loving gift, I'm trying my hand at acrylic painting. This is my first attempt at painting on canvas. I like it, its simple and has its own characteristics. I like the roses in this piece. The petals, the thorns - they show a lot of depth into her personality.

Brazil '06
A while ago I went to Brazil on a Mission Trip. It was a life changing experience. Here are just a couple pics from my time there, just a few.
I got the chance to Break with these Brazilian B-boys.
My good friend Chris, Vern, who loves traveling the world.
The jungle is beautiful.
This is Juiz de Fora, we spent some good times here.
Graffiti Roots
Graffiti roots! Here is my first graffiti character I did from Jet Grind Radio. It's a little over 12ft tall. I only graff commission pieces now, legal walls, and canvas/wood projects. Jet Grind Radio is sort of a glimpse to the beat of my life. If you don't know what Jet Grind Radio is, you should check it out.
